Global Product Manager - Due Diligence of Supply Chain

 

Tasks

  • Lead and manage due diligence services and product bundles within the supply chain due diligence area, as required by relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies for product management including compliance management of accreditation bodies when applicable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and enhance existing ones.
  • Conduct projects with clients (eg. auditor function), ensuring productive and successful outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes on the supply chain of customers to lead the product strategy.
  • Provide training and support to internal operative teams (eg. Auditors) and clients on supply chain due diligence topics.
  • Prepare and present business reports on due diligence service activities and product compliance status.

Qualification

  • Experience gained on Human Rights, ILO, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, on Supply Chain and Human Rights Due Diligence processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Battery Regulation, CSDDD, EUDR, and other relevant supply chain regulations.
  • Strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and their impact on supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in services regarding compliance management and due diligence within the supply chain.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex regulatory requirements and develop effective customer solutions.
  • Experience as auditor / product compliance manager / advisor in due diligence of supply chain is preferred.
  • Ability to deal with accreditation rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certifications in supply chain management, compliance, or sustainability are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on due diligence and compliance within the supply chain.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and managing projects across different countries.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing compliance strategies and initiatives for customers.

Location:

  • The position is based in Europe, with a preference for candidates located in Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, or the Czech Republic also with hybrid / remote locations.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to lead our Supply Chain Due Diligence services for our customers. This role focuses on product development, product compliance management and conducting projects with clients to ensure productive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background connected to Human Rights, ILO, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, Human Rights Due Diligence and processes related to supply chain topics and competences with regard to legal requirements such as Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), Battery Regulation (EUBR).
